I am a behaviour therapist, who is passionate about support and helping my clients succeed with transitions in their lives.

I have been fortunate to help many of my clients and their families over come challenges and obstacles that many of us simply can’t relate to. Many have come to me through one of the 4 successful private school or adult learning programs I am responsible for developing, either at the elementary or secondary school levels or beyond.
Unfortunately, the cost of these programs is $30,000 to upwards of $50,000 per year for individuals with moderate support needs.
So we have developed transitional solutions that provide a high level of support, instruction and care to individuals, in a low cost, yet effective manner.

We wanted to give you the opportunity to help fund a full day of learning or activity, for someone on the Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) wait list and who has not yet received government (passport) funding.
A donation of $36, $60, $90 or $120 will cover the cost of an individual for a full day, depending on their support needs.
In gratitude, we will send you a thank you card and perhaps a photo or two... If he or she is not too camera shy!
Lets support individuals with their transitions into adult lifestyles of their choice, by giving them options to expand their worlds.
Members learn:
Self-regulation & Social Skills to:
• Express feelings
• Create a Positive Self-image
• Engage in Perspective-taking
How to Manage anxiety to:
• Interact positively with others
• React to expected vs unexpected events
Self-help & Advocacy Skills to:
• Assess themselves & their needs
• Have awareness of accommodations they need
• Communicate clearly & Advocate for needs
• Have knowledge of their rights to these accommodations
To Assert Choice & Control to:
• Communicate preferences
• Understand limits
To Expand their World to:
• Find new and exciting ways to expand on interests, develop hobbies & make new friends.
Adaptive skills to:
• Manage Real-life problems
• Develop strategies to keep safe
• Increase Personal safety
• Deal with the unexpected, unplanned events
• Where to go for help
• Increase Community safety
• Increase Workplace safety
