Help Me Restore My Childhood Home

Hello friends.  My name is Sammy Etter, I am 18 years old and in school to become a massage therapist.  It has recently come to my attention my parents are wanting to sell my childhood home.  They do not have the time or resources to maintain it.  I am at an age that I am ready to start a life and build a home for myself.  I would love to restore my old home and have a place to call my own.  They are willing to give it to me if I can come up with the funds to restore it.  My parents do not feel it is in livable condition at this time.   I have had a contractor look at it and the "bones" are good.  We have a team ready to help with the remodel free of charge we just need the materials.  

If we can raise the funds for this project we have also decided to put in a free urban garden.  The home sits on an acre lot.  We have the support of a local farmer who has agreed to help us plant crops for public use.  We will allow the community to come in and participate in the planting, growing, and harvesting.  This will allow them to take what they need for themselves and their families, providing free organic produce for those who need it.  It is a true passion of mine to help teach people how to grow and sustain their own healthy food supply.
