Help Me Home A Cat Family

On August 20th, 2018, I found a cat on my way home from work. She was skittish, and hiding in a dirty storm drain, but wanted nothing more than for me to give her all the attention I had. While petting her, I had noticed two things:

She was horribly emaciated, and extremely pregnant. It looked like she was going to give birth within 24 hours. 

I didn't have anything for her, I hadn't seen a single lost poster for her, I didn't even know if she had a home. So I put her in the car, drove to Petco, and got her everything she needed to be comfortable.

On the morning of August 21st, she gave birth to a lovely litter of 6 kittens! The mother and kittens are doing wonderful, and everyone is putting on healthy weight. 

I really want to give the mother and the kittens the best chance at life I can, so I have decided to foster the kittens, and if the mother does not have a chip, adopt her and possibly one other. 

That's where you come in!

While I do have a job, and I can handle a few month expenses such as food and the like, vet check ups and vaxing/microchip-ing are very heavy expenses, not to mention the testing of the mother to make sure she is free of diseases and the like, and the same for her kittens as well. The goal of this campaign is to make sure everything is done right, so this doesn't happen again for the mother or her kittens. I also want to both give a safe, healthy place for the mother and babies to grow, while also giving a break to the shelters around me, who are more than packed with adult cats and kittens.

If funded, the goal will cover all 7 spaying/neuterings, making sure everyone is tested and treated, getting everyone up to date on vaxinations, and helping me care for them for the next couple months before they go out to their furever homes.
