I HAVE RECEIVED MY WHEELCHAIR!

I HAVE NOW RECEIVED MY CUSTOM WHEELCHAIR! Since the age of 13, my health has rapidly declined. I suffer from a range of health conditions that have been diagnosed over the years. Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is an inherited connective tissue disorder that effects all my joints, ligaments and muscles in my body, causing pain everyday. Also, i am in a severe relapse of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Currently I am bed-bound, rely on a feeding tube and rarely get out the house.  Last year (by persuation of my family) I saved up £200 and bought a basic wheelchair. The freedom it managed to give me was incredible. Walking too far or standing just for very little time makes me very unstable. Because of this chair, I managed to go to places I never thought I'd have the opportunity to go to, such as the zoo.  However, as my conditions have declined since last year, I can only manage to sit in my current wheelchair for short periods of time. Because it is not custom to my needs, it is no longer comfortable to sit in for more than half an hour at a time. Thank you all so much for contributing towards me having a normal life as possible.
