Help me finish my film Hush

Donation protected

Our Story: Hush, started as a dream. Then we turned that dream into a reality by making a short film and writing a feature script to accompany the short version. The movie is ALMOST completed and we have already recieved extremely positive feedback on the feature script and interest. We just lack the final funds to properly finish the sound, color correction and send if off to the festivals. By contributing to this project you will become a Producer on the film and become part of history and the beginning of a revolution. Join us in celebrating our successful telling of a story of life, love and unity.

Our Purpose:

When war falls upon your home and your family, good and evil ceases to exist.
All you have left is “how can I survive?” and “what am I willing to give up to do so?”

“Les morts ont toujours tort” (The dead are always wrong)

I always found this French quote very interesting, because humanity both condemns war but also quickly forgets the ravages it causes.
Human beings are the same everywhere in the world. This is something that I have learned thanks to having lives and worked in many different countries around the world. Everywhere I have been, I have seen people who want to survive, be happy and not suffer. We all love life and fear death. And no one wants to see their families blown up by bombs.

This is why I always feel incomplete when watching war movies, because more often than not, they express major patriotism and only show stories from the perspective of one country (‘the winners’). What a black and white view on the world and war!
To me, trying to understand ‘evil’ is more interesting than glorifying winners; because the reality of war is that there are no good guys or bad guys.

This is at the core of the movie, HUSH
Making the audience question their perception of good and evil

On the brink of World War II, HUSH is a coming of age story of a transgender cabaret artist, a Nazi sex slave and an SS soldier supporting the resistance. It shows how each of them chooses to either fight or bow to the growing Nazi regime.

HUSH does not depict World War II from any patriotic stand-point, but shows the universal suffering of civilians in wartime and their struggle to survive and still live in accordance with their conscience and beliefs.

It is a story of courage, love and sacrifice. Will you stand up and die for what you believe in or will you surrender your freedom to protect the ones you love?
Who were those demons who joined the Nazi forces? Do we have the right to judge them? What were their motives? If your mother's life was at stake, what would you do?

HUSH opens our eyes to the vibrant world of the Cabarets during the Weimar Republic and the surprisingly open-mindedness and colorfulness of this time. We seem to think that the sexual revolution is a very modern and recent debate, when sex changes were already taking place in the 1930s, before Germany got crushed but the Nazi regime.

Finally, HUSH insists on the essential role that artists play in condemning abuse and awaking the masses. It shows the reason why artists and intellectuals are always the first to get killed in every dictatorship. Whenever you do something powerful, you are in danger, because as Joseph Stalin so perfectly said: “Ideas are more powerful than guns".

Thank you so much for your support! With your contribution you will help us transfer our powerful story to the masses and help create positive change in the world.
