31851452_1544305571275010_r.jpegLet me tell you about my wife Michelle. She is a daughter, a sister, a mother to our two year old son and a friend. She is funny, full of life, strong and beautiful and has worked hard to provide for our family. She is also going to be fighting for her life. Michelle has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This news has been very tough to handle but she is ready to go full force to fight and win.

With this being said she is no longer able to work and the loss of her income is already starting to show. As you all may know this is going to be a long and expensive journey that we will be going on. Michelle does have health insurance but this only covers part of the cost. We have already gained $5000 in medical bills just to get our diagnosis and now we looking at a more medical bill from surgery and treatment as well as bills we haven’t even thought of yet.

Michelle is only 35 years old and she has been the main source of family income recently. I work myself but I am also scared of the uncertainty of what lays ahead of us. I can’t take her cancer away, but this is one way I can take away at least her stress about bills,  medical expense and so on. And she can put all her energy into fighting for her life.

I want you to know that nothing will be taken for granted. Anything you can do from prayers to donations is appreciated. Even a few dollars here and there will help us so very much. Please take a moment and share this with your friends and family. It can make a huge difference.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 31851452_1533278972431202_r.jpeg

Update from my wife Michelle.

I wanted to take some time to update everyone and to thank everyone for the kind words, messages, prayers and donations. It has all helped my through the past two weeks.

Today I am having my cat scan and MRI to see if and how far the cancer has spread and we will hopefully find out the results Monday.

As of today I am grade 2, stage 3. Let me explain that a little. Grade is how aggressive the cancer is. There is three grades. 1 not aggressive 2 moderate and 3 aggressive. Stage is what stage the cancer is at. There are 4 stages. 1,2 and 3. I can go into full remission. 4 I will not and they will help me live with cancer.

So right now we are going ahead with grade 2, stage 3 treatment plan (this could all change Monday depending on the cat scan and MRI results ). I will go in on Wednesday 15th August for a port placement. This will be out patient surgery. On Thursday 16th August I will need to attend a chemo class. Then I will start chemo therapy. I will haft to have the aggressive chemo and I will have two rounds. The first round will be one treatment every other week for four treatment then I will go straight into the second round which is one treatment every week for 12 weeks. After the chemo I will have surgery and depending on how the cancer is after chemo and surgery I will either do chemo again and then radiation therapy or just radiation therapy.

That it. That’s all I know as of today. Thank you everyone for your love and support.
