Help Me Cross The Bridge To Clemson

My name is David Evans, and I am enrolled in the Bridge program at Clemson with a major in engineering for freshman year this upcoming fall.

I will be graduating from Eastside High School on June 1st with honors and a GPA of 4.2.

I have been interested in engineering for many years, and my dream has always been to work in the aerospace engineering field as I love planes and everything involving them. Because Clemson does not offer aerospace engineering as a major I will be focusing in the area of mechanical engineering while at Clemson. After I graduate from Clemson I plan to go on to get a Master's Degree in aerospace engineering.

However, in order to reach this dream I have, I need help in paying for all the different costs associated with going to college. I have received grants and scholarships and have taken out a federal loan, but I am still short of the housing costs, books and supplies cost, transportation cost, food cost, as well as costs that are associated with moving into college such as a computer, kitchen supplies, laundry supplies, and many other items.

My parents have contributed some to my education, but they are not able to cover all of the different expenses associated with college. Therefore, to pay for the difference between the cost of going to college and the scholarships grants and loan I have, I am relying on what I will make from a summer job this summer before college, a job while enrolled in college, and this fundraiser. However, I do not have a vehicle currently to get to a job. I am willing to work hard and do whatever it takes to reach my dream.
