Help Me be a Farrier Godmother

Sometimes you just want to help make someone's dream come true right? Toño wants to grow up to become a proper Farrier and I would love your help to make that happen.
**Note: Toño needs US dollars but this my GoFundMe is tied to my Canadian account so you should know that it's 1 to 1.35 at the moment**
He has reached the stage now where he needs some proper schooling. And although I always do my best to help, the best option for him is a course in Columbia and it's a little too steep a commitment for me.
Toño has worked here at Rancho Chilamate with our horses for several years now and from day one has shown a special interest in horse care - especially hooves. He has been to several workshops, worked alongside farriers when we bring them in and found on line information to improve his skill.
It more rare here than in North America for someone to have the ambition and fortitude to pursue a career of passion which is the main reason why I want to support Toño. He is now 25 years old.
This course in Columbia is of particular interest because it involves personal attention and instruction from a certified veterinarian and world-class farrier. He shares his knowledge of equine anatomy as it relates to movement, hoof diagnostics and training to shape hooves in order to help equines achieve the greatest level of movement physically possible.

If you can help with the course fees we will work to get him there and secure his visa etc as part donation and part as an interest free loan repaid in farrier services when he returns.
Total amount of funds needed: $4500
$2600 – course, housing and food costs
$1900 – travel costs (visas to Colombia and Costa Rica, trips to Managua to secure visa, flight to and from Colombia)
Duration of course: 55 days (~2 months)
Course Includes:
6 days a week (500 hours) of classes in various topics
Diploma upon passing exam
