Help Matthew and Tina Nichols

It was a lovely sunday, preparing for my brothers 17th birthday. Around 3pm while cooking on the grill we heard the most devastating noise. The sound of a car accident. Knowing we were anticipating the arrival of my brother as it was a surprise party for him, we never expected when arriving on the scene that it would be my stepfather and my brother. Ever since then I've been here helping my mother and brother giving them rides to and from the hospital to the grocery store and helping with keepin things in order with their home. My stepfathers entire face was broken and his back as well. He has bruising on his heart and lung and fluid on his right lung . He also has a trach. They have done reconstructive surgery on his face today and have been keepin him sedated so that he wont injure himself more . The doctors have stated that he will be in the hospital 2 months or longer and thats not including the therapy for recovery that he will need. They are also unsure if he will be able to walk until hes recovered and alert from all the facial surgeries hes had or will still have. The expenses from traveling to the hospital is alot because its an hour and twenty minutes from my mothers home. Since shes on a fixed income its hard for her to pay the bills and keep up with finding ways to the hospital and getting something to eat while there. Matt Nichols my stepfather also loves his dog (Nubby), shes been very lost without him and always looking for matt. We have tried to keep her comfortable and stress free as possible. At this time we are asking for help to cover the cost of travel and getting a hotel room closer to the hospital and enough money to be able to get food and help with expenses that may occur while at the hospital.
