Mateo -a sweet 4 yr old boy - Sick with Leukemia

This is Mateo Veloz Reyes, who is only 4 years old.  He is a friend's little guy here in Ecuador who was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia 8 months ago. It started with a fever, they took little Mateo to the doctor, where they did some exams.  They later sent him to a hospital about 3 hours away, and told his mom that Mateo was really sick and they didn't even know if he would make it to the hospital alive.  He was hospitalized for a month and a half.  When he got out of the hospital, he couldn't walk, and by the time they got him home he had a very high fever. They rushed him back to the hospital and ran more tests.  He is now receiving treatment at the cancer hospital in Guayaquil, so they have to travel back and forth on the bus 3 hours each way..  This little family is trying so hard to give their little boy the best treatment possible. For a family already struggling economically and in a country with economic problems, it has been very difficult to say the least.  I am starting this go-fund me to help them pay for traveling expenses and whatever other expenses while they try to provide their son with the best care possible.
