Help Marsh during cancer treatment

This past week our dear friends, the McDonalds, received some scary news..........Marshall has cancer. For the past 18 months Marshall has been unwell and unable to work. After countless appointments with doctors and specialists, MRI's, CT scans, ultasounds and endless blood tests they finally discovered colon cancer through a colonoscopy. Struggling to find the cause of his illness the doctors originally diagnosed him with an auto-immune disease, they now realize it was colon cancer and  Marshall requires immediate surgery.

We are trying to raise some funds so that the family can concentrate on Marsh's recovery and not worry about anything else. Jane will have to take some time off work to care for Marshall and continue to get Claire, their 15 year old daughter, to her ongoing physiotherapy in downtown Vancouver as she recovers from a serious concussion.

The McDonalds are a lovely family and will get through this with love and their great sense of humour. I know they are always the first ones to offer to help with a fundraiser, helping someone move, babysitting kids and dogs, rugby groups, the food bank and horse things like JustWorld International and now it's our turn to give back to them!
