Help Mark raise much needed funds

Mark is a writer, freelance graphic artist, and internet DJ with negligible income. He lives with his aging father and has had some long-term setbacks, including severe health problems. He was turned down for disability and now feels overwhelmed with life. He struggles with depression and PTSD, and though he now has medical insurance, he has no way to otherwise make ends meet.

He is a truly kind man with a big heart, and feels humiliated to ask for help. But he needs it. The computer he uses for his writing and graphics is old and failing and needs replacing. He has no way to do so, and when it is gone, what little income he earns will go with it. He has other expenses, essential and non-essentials (like replacing clothing items) that he has gone without for several years. His health issues combined with the depression have kept him from getting gainful employment.

Any donation to Mark's campaign, no matter how small, will be a godsend and greatly appreciated. He considers himself like the phoenix above, rising from the ashes of destruction. He is hopeful and maintains a positive attitude, fighting his challenges as best he can, but he needs a little extra help to get back on his feet. When he does rise up and is solvent once more, he plans to pay it forward and help others who, like himself, are in a bind.
