Help make our dream through IVF!

My husband Kevin and I have been together for 9 years and married for 3 years. This man is truly a blessing to me. I can't imagine anyone else that is more deserving to be a father. Starting a family has always been a dream of ours. When I was 16 I got diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome.) Which is a problem in which woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. So we already knew that conceiving  was going to be a challenge. When we decided to start a family of our own, I had it all planned out in my mind. We thought starting our family would only take a year after multiple negative pregnancy tests we decided  to seek help from a fertility specialist.

In 2014 we met with the fertility doctor for the first time. He did an ultrasound and found out that I have Atypical Endometrial hyperplasia which is a precancerous condition that can develop in the lining of the uterus (called the endometrium). It is an overgrowth of abnormal cells, or it can develop from endometrial hyperplasia, which is an overgrowth of normal cells. Sometimes polyps that grow in the uterus will have atypical endometrial hyperplasia. Because of this I had to get a endometrial biopsy where he scraped my uterine lining and found that I have pre cancerous cells due to having the endometrial hyperplasia. Because of this diagnosis I will have to get a biopsy every year to make sure the cancer doesn't progress. Or I would need to get a hysterectomy to make sure I don't get uterine cancer.  Which you can only imagine how devastating that is to hear that when you're only 25. Through the first fertility specialist we did 6 rounds of letrozle  and injections and unfortunately we had no positive results.

In 2017 after a year and a half of feeling excitement before every treatment then having that excitement turn into disappointment we  decided to get a second opinion to see what further treatments were out there. After doing months of research to find the best fertility doctor out there that specializes in what I have been diagnosed with we are now seeing a specialist that we LOVE. The staff and doctors are more than compassionate. I have had 2 surgeries through them- another endometrial biopsy and a laparoscopy and we have done 2 rounds of inseminations (IUI)  with no luck. Our doctor thinks we should move onto the last most aggressive treatment which is  IVF (in vitro fertilization) she's not sure why we aren't getting pregnant but she is sure that IVF would be the best option for us.

The #1 barrier to treating infertility is finances, and that is why we are seeking help. After struggling with this for 3 years we are financially, mentally, and emotionally drained. We normally never ask for help, but here we are asking. Without IVF Kevin and I might not be able to make our dream come true of having our little miracle baby! Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for reading!
