Help Make A New Life For Baby HOPE

Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids is on a mission to give Baby Hope her life back! Hope was an emergency admission to Critter Crusaders. She is a 4month old pit bull puppy with very significant injuries to a hip with a fractured femoral head, and a femur on the opposite side, consisting of a fracture close to the knee.
She also has sustained damage to an eye that will heal in time. These are injuries that required enormous force and we are trying to piece this puzzle together. Hope is her name and that’s absolutely what we intend to give her! Thanks to Cedar Valley Pit Bull Rescue for pulling this little girl into their system as Critter Crusaders manages her medical care! Hope had surgery today with Dr. Brent Reimer from Des Moines Iowa Veterinary Referral Center who was a visiting surgeon at Frey Pet Hospital. Dr. Brent repaired these significant injuries and Hope will be hospitalized to control her pain. More to come on Hope's struggle. Bless this sweet little baby!
