Help Forge Eagle-Condor Alliances and Community Service Trips for hIndigenous Activists, Lyla June and Cheryl Angel
In the present context, we are being called by our ancestors and our hearts to bring healthy change for Mother Earth, and there are many things to be and do. Among them is the prayer and action for clean and free water for the Earth animals and peoples of this world. You donation will help bring Cheryl Angel and Lyla June, two important Indigenous woman activists, to two specific gatherings for prayers for water in Mexico and the World: The Consejo de Visiones and the Xicome Rivers Alive Festival. Our intention for your generous donations are to weave a gathering of Tribes, create alliances and have them participate in volunteer work to serve local communities and have them share the voices of Standing Rock. After performances and speeches of Lyla June's work in México, she will sell her book/CDs and donate 100% of the proceeds to local, female water protectors.

Cheryl Angel:
Cheryl receives historic invitations  to bring her Native voice and prayers to non-profit campaigns in every corner of the world. She is a Sicangu Lakota spiritual activist dedicated to non-violent direct action and environmental justice.  Cheryl was led to Standing Rock where she became a key community member at Sacred Stone Camp. She led prayer and ceremonies during the almost year long occupation to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline from infringing on Native Rights and Water, and helped hold the prayerful, peaceful nature of the resistance.

Lyla June:
Lyla is a musician, poet, anthropologist, educator, community organizer and public speaker of the Diné (Navaho) and Tsétsehéstahese (Cheyenne) Lineages. She wears many hats but the underlying prayer is always the same: to bring health and sustainability to the global population. She was a key component along with Cheryl Angel and Starhawk at Sacred Stone Camp at Standing Rock in offering a non-violent training for women and the Women´s march for Peace and water at Standing Rock and led many prayers and actions. She recently traveled to the Vatican and met with Pope Francis to talk about the importance of indigenous rights and presence on the planet and continues to speak in the name of justice for Native peoples, their language and traditions and respect and love for Mother Earth. Her personal mission is to love deeper and to support and empower indigenous youth.

OUR PRAYER FOR WATER AS A COLLECTIVE PEOPLE.

We are here to speak for the water of our bodies and the bodies of water that are near us. In the prophecy of the Eagle and Condor, from many indigenous nations, it is said that the people of the North and people of the South of these great continents would come together and restore health the the People and the Earth.

This action connected to prayer has been held in many cultures around the world and specifically the important example of Standing Rock by the Lakota Dakota Sioux tribes and other Indigenous nations regarding the Keystone Pipeline and the protection of water from pollutants.

THE LOCAL CONTEXT IN MEXICO.

In Mexico many water protectors have also been gathering in different corners of the country rising to meet the needs of bodies of water on the shore and in the belly and tail of Turtle Island. This year many of us have prepared two specific prayers for water connected to action for the rights of the watersheds in Bacalar and Puebla, Mexico.
In November 2017, we will gather for the Consejo de Visiones, or VISION COUNCIL to connect with youth adults and elders towards water sovereignty in conversation, workshops, conferences and meetings with elders. http://www.consejodevisiones.org/english/

In March 2018 we will gather again for the RIVERS ALIVE XICOME FESTIVAL, https://www.facebook.com/riosvivosatoyacxicome/
an open heart musical festival geared towards a prayer for water and legislative, community and grassroots action for the restoration of the River Atoyac, the main water vein of this area in Mexico.
After many recent earthquakes in Mexico, PachaMama Mother Earth has shaken us up and we are weaving ourselves with our water protector family of the North and for this collective endeavor. Lyla June and Cheryl Angel are our special guests for CONSEJO DE VISIONES AND RIVERS ALIVE XICOME FESTIVAL. As women indigenous leaders and key participants at Standing Rock for the peaceful women's march for Water prayer, they are important spirits to recognize and honour at this time.

THANK YOU! GRACIAS! TLAZOKAMATI!
Thank you for your donation. With these gifts we will be able to bring Lyla June and Cheryl Angel to Mexico and weave our prayers together for our waters with an open heart connected to diligent, peaceful action and service. This money will be used to support their journey to Mexico on these two occasions in the upcoming months in basic costs of transportation, food and lodging for Lyla, Cheryl and their assistant Paola. We want to gether this in a month if possible! If we gather more money it will be contributed to take care of Cheryl Angel´s horses. We thank you in advance for your generosity and are grateful for the beautiful unfolding of our times now.
