Help Luxe get lifesaving surgery after gunshot

On Tuesday evening April 30th, two of our dogs were shot by a neighbor. There is a lot to this story and I will try to keep it as to the point as possible. They had gotten out as we are in the process of fixing our electrical fence. After searching for them (we live in a small rural area where all neighbors have gated properties), we could not find them. An hour later we heard gun shots. Our dogs had chased after one neighbors turkey, they wounded him and he ended up being put down. They then ran into the other neighbors yard, who had a prize caged rooster, where the dogs were outside of. They were shot. Remi’s gunshot wound was fatal and we found her dumped on the other side of the road. Her puppy Luxe ran off scared and was missing until Thursday morning. He showed up with bullet wounds and a fever and we immediately took him to the vet.
He has over 80 pellets in his lower limbs.
They said if he makes it until Tuesday, he would likely lose his tail because 2 pellets hit his spinal cord so he has no feeling in it. At this point his tail is dead and will have to be removed.
They want to do surgery to remove any lead in his liver, necrotic tissue, and amputate his tail and possibly his leg.
We are devastated about losing his mom and cannot bare to lose him too.
But Luxe is a fighter. Even with all of the pain he’s in, fighting a massive infection... he still keeps jumping and wagging his tail when he sees us. He’s calm and loving but alert and ready to keep fighting.
This surgery will just be too much for us to pay for at this point. I never thought I’d make a gofundme, but so many people have pushed me to do so because everyone’s hearts are breaking in this terrible situation. Whether it’s $1 or dog treats or prayers, anything anyone feels led to give will be so extremely appreciated. We are swallowing our pride to put our sweet dog first. Ultimately we let him down and we need help giving him a fighting chance, he’s made it this far and we won’t give up on him.
