Help loui walk again

Donation protected
Two weeks and a day my boy loui had a spinal injury apparently it’s very common with the french bulldog breed
I came home from work and he walked up to me with his head down and he was walking very slowly I knew straight away something wasn’t right so I called the vets and explained what had happened they told me to keep a eye on him and if he doesn’t seem right the next day then to bring him in
So when I woke the next day I found him struggling to walk and his back legs completely dragging behind him!
This absolutely shocked me and I have never been so worried in my life not knowing what was happening I called the emergency vets again and got him in straight away
When i arrived at the vets they said that it looked like he’d twisted his spine and gave me some meloxidyl they said if he seems to get any worse then to bring him back. after taking him home still worried and wasn’t sure what to expect I gave him his prescription. through the night he got even worse to a point where you couldn’t touch him he was in so much pain I was at the point of braking down in tears as I didn’t know what was happening to my boy he’s my absolute world I depend on him as much as he depends on me he isn’t just a pet he’s my family my son and I wanted to take the pain away like any parent would for there child
I then took him back in to the vets and he stayed over for the next two nights as they gave him pain relief
I then had a phone call with the worst news anyone could ever have!.  they said to me to prepare for the worst as he may need to be put to sleep , they said they didn’t feel they needed to give him a scan because with a X-ray it doesn’t really show in detail what’s happened , so with this I wasn’t going to let that happen!
I called another vet that had been advised from a friend for a second opinion I then took loui to this vet
and straight away he had a scan and some more strong pain relief with that scan the vet confirmed that he’d slipped a vertebrae “Hemivertebrae” as it’s known and apparently very common with frenchies as there spine isn’t straight.
over period of a week they treated him on a steroid treatment that would help bring down inflammation along his spine along with physio therapy and hydrotherapy
He started to make some improvements as they first few days went on. The vet had said the pain on his spine had reduced and he was starting to what look like make great improvements.
But after him being in the vets for such a long period of time away from me, his family, his best friend , his life he started to go down hill. altho i was going in every day to see him and sit with him for a numerous amount of hours  his improvements slowed down at this point the vet asked how I’d feel if he came home to try perk him up and hope that it would give him some more motivation to keep pushing through this.
being in surroundings he was familiar with he may find within himself the strength to keep going  forward.

He’s now at home with me and I continue with the physio and hydrotherapy along with a sling to help with walking and slowly building his strength in his back legs,
iv put every penny that I have into his treatment and vet bills
because he needs 24/7 care right now iv had to stop work which has put me in a desperate situation to ask for help he’s being referred to Langford vets in Bristol for a spinal operation that will help him walk again but this is very expensive and I have put everything I have to his already vet bills
it’s embarrassing for me to ask and I couldn’t think of anything worse as I am a very self proud person and don’t like to rely on others
but this isn’t for me this is for my boy this is for my world to be able to walk again iv already lost so much I can’t lose him!.

The operation its its self is £4.500  and I absolutely understand how substantial this amount is but I am asking for any help possible whether it be a penny or a pound

I don’t have any help towards his care it’s just me and him
map please any help is going towards him having the best life he deserves he didn’t ask for this he’s the most kind hearted, loving, softest dog anyone could want!
Like any owner who has such strong connections with there dog/cat any animal they deserve to have the best life possible they give so much and ask for nothing in return
Loui deserves to walk again so please help me give him that opportunity he’s not given up he’s fighting every day but this operation will give him more of a fighting chance

I can not explain how much he means to me my hole life evolves around him.
