Help Lori Giannico Beat Cancer!

My name is Maureen Kemmer and I am making this page for my sister Lori Giannico. As most people already know, she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to her liver and lymph nodes. This news has been very shocking and emotional for everyone in the family, especially for Anthony and their three daughters.
As most of you may know, they moved to Florida this past year to retire in “Paradise”. Anthony is no longer able to work as he is now the primary caregiver for my sister. He is not someone who usually asks for help. This is very hard on him not being able to fully financially support his family as he has done his entire life.
My sister will require twelve rounds of chemotherapy treatments. She has just completed her third round. Each chemotherapy session costs $3,500, which they have to pay out of pocket as their insurance does not cover this along with other treatments (blood work, low white blood count injections, doctor appointments, etc.) which are required to help Lori in getting well.
My sister is the most important person in our lives. Even though she’s the one physically going through the pain, she is the glue that is holding us ALL together.
Lori is someone who would never hesitate to help a friend in need. As this is an extremely difficult time for the Giannico’s, we ask if you can please support Lori and her family as they face this difficult journey together. By raising funds for their family, we hope to ease some of the stress and financial pressure they will face with this new challenge.
