Help for Lombok earthquake

During August last month; several earthquakes had happened in the island of LOMBOK major scale ones were followed by hundreds of replicas, impacting all of its towns and severely damaging most of them, as a result 557 people died;
there are over 390,000 more who were left homeless and had moved to self made tents and shelters.
Their houses are down to the ground, the hospital is broken too and temporary clinics had been set up to help the increasing number of patients.
The Sasak people in higher villages hasn't got much luck to get government assistance up there.
During the major shakes the water pipes which flow mountain water down had been crashed, and the very roads leading to the springs in the mountain had been cover by rocks due to the landslides.

The whole area is in EMERGENCY state.
These people are surviving in very basic situation.
There is an URGENT need for water to survive and start a new life.
There is a strong community feeling among these people; food and medicine donations arrive from other part of the island, and volunteers had arrived to the lower towns , however little of this help find its way to he upper villages, everything seems people powered, community managed initiatives for survival: early morning a group starts heading out to get water, someone offers the pickup where they fit couple of tanks in, people donate to cover the gasoline for the transport .
They give their days everyday from dawn to dusk pumping in and out, distributing water among the survival camps, where all the villagers live now.
Water from which thousands of people relay.
They find themselves between desperation, impotence and struggle to get their life going, start up again from the ground, feed their family, rise up their farms.
We are two woman who had chance to visit several families in the area of Sembalun in Lombok, we lived and met and had to know the situation as they are living it.
We witness how they are united, how strong is their caring for each other. And the goodness of humankind when facing disaster.
Thanks to them we've get back our concept of generosity and bravery.
They NEED more WATER TANKS to cope with how life is.
All the MONEY that you can offer, that will be collected shall be given DIRECTLY to the families we met in the village of Sembalun , and themselves would use it in buying the WATER TANKS, building materials to repair their WATER PIPES when earthquakes stop.
We are only informing on their situation and linking the claims of the Sasak community to the larger world community and showering them back with the support that will find its way to them.
We made this video with much love, trying to show the reality they face.
They talk about fear, and their traumas for this happening, however they live with great attitude to overcome their faith, and deep hope moves them forward.
We believe that all of you the bigger world community, are part of the change and together we can provide the help that is much needed.

El pasado mes de agosto tuvieron lugar varios terremotos en la isla de Lombok, como consecuencia murieron 557 personas y hay 390.000 desplazados que ahora están sin hogar, viviendo en tiendas de campaña fabricadas por ellos mismos.
Estas personas necesitan AYUDA URGENTE, debido a los temblores, las tuberías que les suministraban agua se han roto y sus casas se han derrumbado.
Ahora están entre la desesperación por no saber qué hacer y las ganas de recuperar sus vidas.
Necesitan AGUA COMO ELEMENTO BÁSICO Y PRINCIPAL para sobrevivir y poder comenzar una nueva vida, además de herramientas y MATERIALES PARA RECONSTRUIR SUS CASAS. Pronto comienza la época de lluvias y eso lo hace cada vez más urgente.
Somos dos chicas que estuvimos en el pueblo de Sembalun en Lombok, conviviendo con diferentes familias.
Hemos vivido en una comunidad de personas que están unidos y se cuidan los unos a los otros.
Gracias a ellos hemos recuperado el concepto de generosidad y valentía.
No disponen de agua corriente, varios grupos salen cada amanecer con un coche, dos tanques de agua y un motor para recoger agua del río (Monte Rinjani) que reparten a cada familia de la aldea.
Muchos días hacen viajes sin descanso hasta el atardecer.
NECESITAN MÁS TANQUES DE AGUA.
Todo el dinero recaudado irá destinado directamente a las familias que conocimos en el pueblo de Sembalun y ellos mismos gestionarán la compra de los tanques de agua, materiales para reconstruir sus casas, agua para beber, etc.
Iremos compartiendo fotos para que vayáis viendo el resultado de vuestra gran labor.
Hemos hecho un video con mucho cariño, explicando la situación y, sobre todo, mostrando la realidad. Hablan del miedo y del trauma por el terremoto, pero también hay esperanza.
Con esto nos gustaría contar con todxs vosotrxs y que, granito a granito, seamos parte del cambio y de la ayuda que necesitan.

Ahora comienza la epoca de lluvias y la aldea de Semalum, no esta protegida contra toda la humedad, trabajan duro y nostrxs desde aqui prometemos hacer lo mismo.
Vamos a publicar la historia en otros idiomas para asi hacer mayor cobertura y pronto cuando reciban el dinero os podremos enviar fotos para que veais en que se ha invertido toda vuestra generosidad muchas gracias otra vez, queremos recodar que nosotras somos unicamente un enlace entre vosotrxs y ellxs, el dinero lo recibiremos he ingresaremos inmediatamente en la cuenta de Lombok, creada exclusivamente para recaudar fondos
