Help Local Batman fix his Batmobile

Donation protected
I met Lyn (local Columbi Batman) through a work event I was organizing. He and his wife started a volunteer group in Columbia of himself and other talented cosplayers to lend their skills and time to visit all kinds of children for free throughout the state. They are most proud of time they volunteer at local children’s hospitals. When Lyn came to my day care center for a superhero event I saw him pull into the parking lot in a black car with a Batman license plate. He was fully dressed in costume. Kids saw him pull in and started to get excited. He was Batman from start to end. It’s the best program I’ve ever organized. Lyn’s car aka "The Bat Mobile")  got totaled in a accident this past month when someone hit him. He doesn't have gap insurance and that’s led to debt and no car.

No car means limited time spent visiting kids. Batman has helped us.... now it’s our turn.

Please give whatever you can to help get him a new  bat mobile up and running again.

Below is a statement from Lyn

“My name is Lyn Powell. As many of you probably know, my wife Kelly Powell and I started The Signal 5 years ago. A group of costumed superheroes who help with numerous children's charities. Dressed as Batman, I continue to visit children in hospitals, schools, local charity events, and rarely ask for anything in return. Now I need your help. In the middle of October coming home from work one Friday evening, I was involved in a car wreck. A driver in a truck veered into my lane and hit my driver side mirror and door causing me to hit another driver. He kept going....The driver I hit got scratches on her bumper, and my car got heavy damage on the front end. We thought it could be fixed, but the insurance company decided to total it. We don't have GAP insurance, so after the claim we're going to owe $2000+ and I have no car. We are not wealthy. My wife and I barely scrape by. I work everyday with fibromyalgia and stomach issues. I don't complain, but not I have more issues with my back and arm that the insurance company doesn't want to help with. This has brought me to tears... I work as hard as I can, and dedicate all the spare time to children fighting for their lives.....
I want to continue to do so, but I need help. I don't know what else to do.”
