Lisha is an outstanding student who is presently in her third year of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Arts and Science College in Vellore District, Tamil Nadu State (India). Member of a very poor family, Lisha dreams to become a business woman and a social entrepreneur.
This campaign is part of the higher education support program launched by my organization (ARCHES ) a few years ago. In line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ARCHES is devoting many efforts to fostering sustainable development at different levels around the world. In particular, this specific program intends to support more vulnerable groups such as young women and minorities by focusing on the following targets of the 2030 Agenda: SDG 1: No poverty, SDG 4: Quality education and SDG 5: Gender equality. It provides a solid platform to enable low-income students to gain academic excellence and develop professional skills to maximize their potential for success. By this inclusive approach, we can help them pursue their educational dreams and build strong futures.
