My name is Lily, I'm a 22 year old trans girl living in Melbourne, Australia and I need help to afford genital reconstruction surgery.
I've been experiencing intense dysphoria for the last decade, which has led to clinical depression and anxiety. While this has eased over time with my undergoing hormone replacement therapy, surgery remains out of reach.
Genital reconstruction surgery in Australia is prohibitively expensive for young, unemployed trans people and that's why every dollar helps. There are very few surgeons in Australia and the cost is always rising so time is of the essence.
