Help Leslie and Penny Find a Place

Leslie has become homeless after having to quit her job of 30 years to care for her dying father. Forced to live in her car with her dog Penny, she is now in the DC area desperately looking for work and a place to live.
Her car is now broken down and unable to be driven.
Penny is temporarily being cared for by Homeward Trails Animal Rescue until Leslie can find a place for the both of them.

Funds are being sought for Leslie to find a place to live other than her car, food and clothes to help her get by day to day, and for car repairs so that she can get to job interviews.
