Help Leap walk again

I met Leap when she was 11 years old. She was a victim of human trafficking and had just been brought to our shelter. I worked as a director of a Finnish organization, Children of Cambodia NGO. Our shelter was for victims of human trafficking and child prostitution in Phnom Penh.


Leap has excelled, and three years ago she became a student at the University of Phnom Penh, majoring in information technology. She is one of only two girls in her class.

In April, 2016 she was in a traffic accident and broke several bones in her leg.

The X-ray pictures have been evaluated by orthopedists in Finland, who agree that her leg needs to be operated ASAP. The Doctors at the local hospitals were not able to give Leap any medical help . The daily pain and limited mobility have become so unbearable she had to put her studies on hold. Leap turned to me for help.

Without the operation Leap will never be able to walk normally again, her symptoms will worsen and she will have to give up on her dreams about the future.
