Cancer Free by Christmas!

As a quick introduction to those who don’t know me, my name is Carla and I am one of Lauren's oldest friends. 

 During the holiday season we usually find someone to help that has it harder than us and this year is no different. This year I have someone close to me who is struggling in ways I can't imagine. Some of you may know my friend, Lauren Zagorac, for those of you who don't she is a single mom with one income trying to raise her 3year old son and working full time. Recently Lauren was diagnosed with breast cancer and is scheduled to have a double mastectomy 5 days before Christmas! Her family and close friends will ensure that her son Lucas has EVERYTHING he needs to have a good Christmas morning. We have also reached out to friends who are willing to supply her with meals while she recovers. Now this is where I need YOUR help!! As a result of the surgery, Lauren will be off of work for 2 months minimum for recovery. This will drastically impact her income for the next several months. I'd like to ask if we can all come together for this special cause in her time of need. No donation is too small, every little bit counts. Anything we can do during this tough time to help alleviate even a little bit of the stress so she can focus on recovery and enjoying a cancer free new year will help so much. In typical Lauren fashion, she is positive and perky with bouts of panic. Her outlook is good and we have every confidence and hope that she will get to spend Christmas without cancer. She’s spending the next few weeks preparing for surgery, having an early holiday celebration with her son.
