Help Korra Go Walking Again
Donation protected
My name is Michelle and I am in desperate need of help for my 8 month old Husky named Korra. I adopted Korra when she was 6.5 months old as she was an unwanted and mistreated pup in need of a second chance. She brought light into my life after the loss of my best friend, Mia the Malamute. Korra was such a spritely dog, so energetic and vivacious that she jumped over the back of the couch and smashed her paw into the glass coffee table causing a premature closing of one of the growth plates in her leg. This means that her leg, which is still growing, is now beginning to twist at her wrist, making it extremely painful for her to walk. This diagnosis was achieved after 4 visits to our regular vet and a visit to an orthopedic specialist which have significantly drained my financial resources. I’ve now been told that she will require surgery and a plate in her leg with costs estimated at $6,500 that I simply don’t have. I am desperate to help my little girl and my heart is breaking because I can’t afford to. Please help us.
