We human being have all dreamed of flying like a bird without boundaries. This is a dream that unites us all. Since 2017, we have founded the first fly academy AtmoDance to help train talented youth to dance inside a wind tunnel. 
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We have handpicked 20 incredibly talented and passionate young students who want to learn, step forward and develop their skills of flying. To help them succeed, the cost of training can add up quickly. Your financial support can help us to lower this cost.
Our students are athletes of the future who spare no time in mastering the art of flying. They can overcome gravity while demonstrating imposible skills in the air like a flying dancer.
Through AtmoDance Camp taking place in July of 2018, our goal is to raise funding to support our students through scholarships. With your financial contribution, they can travel and train with the best trainers in the world.
ABOUT THE CAMP
The AtmoDance Academy was founded in 2017 with the aim to coordinate young athletes and instructors residing in twelve different countries. Our ultimate goal is to help them to become the best indoor flyers of the world by providing a solid background and training program.
We are organising our annual summer camp taking place 1st – 8th of July 2018 in Madrid Spain. With intensive courses, the students will have a chance to deepen their friendship, learn from one another, and work with some of the best instructors in the world.
Qualifying students will receive scholarships to attend this camp, because money can never get in the way of young flyer’s advancement. This is where you can help, we have launched this fund-raising campaign to ensure our sustainability, so AtmoDance can stay on course and remain as the first and foremost wind tunnel dance academy in the world.
ATMODANCE ACADEMY
AtmoDance can be regarded as the latest multidisciplinary art form of the 21st century, evolved from the sport we call indoor skydiving. You must actually perform the act of flying in an artistic way, along the lines of a specific choreography you have mastered in the air.
Through years of training sessions typically held in various wind tunnel locations stretching several continents, our mission is to build on a solid foundation. The athletic instructors can teach our students the movement sequences so the general public can also comprehend, enjoy and relate to as a new branch of artistic expression.
Apart from training talented youth flyers, we also offer courses for instructors. The methodology we are using is being developed in collaboration with the Tunnel Instructor Organisation and will be adaptable to instructor training programs around the globe.
ABOUT BODYFLYERS
Being a human body flyer is an easy task. It places intense demands on both body and mind. In every second, you must be aware of your exact position within the wind tunnel.
Pressed against a wind speed of nearly 240 km/h, the human body can certainly fly freely if you have mastered the requisite skills. In a wind tunnel, it is similar to a skydiver in free fall, however without the stress and acrophobia.
As any sport or art, body flying requires a specific type of talent. In this case they include an excellent sense of space, flexibility, concentration, dexterity, and humility. Of course, perseverance, diligence, and the ability to work well in a team are also important. Our students and trainers have successfully demonstrated through their hard work that they possess all of these prerequisites.
