Help Kerri Kick Cancer - Hodgkin's Lymphoma

On June 26th, 2019 our dear friend Kerri’s life took an unexpected turn.
It all started with tightness in her chest and a visit to Urgent Care. After a few routine tests yielded no results, she almost was sent home with directions to rest up and see if it goes away.
Luckily, the doctor suggested that maybe they run one final test - a chest X-Ray - saying, “Let’s just make sure we rule everything out.”
The X-Ray showed a football-sized mass in Kerri’s chest, and her case was quickly escalated to the Emergency Room where she was hospitalized for 12 days. Shortly after she was admitted, a biopsy of the mass yielded a diagnosis of Stage II Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Kerri was immediately put on an aggressive treatment plan including 8 rounds of chemotherapy and 18 sessions of radiation. Due to the aggressiveness of the chemotherapy, her doctor opted for a port to be surgically implanted.
Over the past three months, Kerri has faced every day with relentless positivity. She refuses to see herself as a victim and has gracefully gone through the brutal and daunting process of battling this disease.
Please help us raise funds to support the financial burden this has put on Kerr and her family. Even with health insurance, the medical bills have racked up tens of thousands of dollars (and counting) in out-of-pocket expenses. We want this to be the LAST thing the Brochhagen family is focused on right now.
All proceeds will be used to fund her treatment, and support her with her ongoing care and medical costs.
