Help keep our local Gallery open!

Calling all local Art Lovers!
The Mateel Cooperative Art Gallery in Garberville, a California non
profit, has supported local artists in our community for nearly 25
years and is in dire need of community support if we are to keep our
doors open.

The gallery has had a challenging year financially, needing more members
to work shifts and sell their art, and the economic climate. We love the new renovations but last summer they affected traffic and sales. We are in
need of benefactors who love art and would like to help keep our doors
open until the tourist season, when we are hopeful things will pick up.
We believe the gallery is an important and welcoming part of the tourism
draw to our town and adds to it's ambiance. We are hoping to raise up to
$5000 to help us get through til June.

Of course, the best way to help the gallery in the long term is to shop
there. Please come in to browse and shop, bring your friends and family
when they visit, and keep us in mind when you have gifts to buy and want
the very best handcrafted unique art.
