Courtney's Fight For Lungs

As many know, Josh’s long time girlfriend, Courtney, has a terminal lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis and she has been at what they call "end stage" for about a year now. The disease basically destroys your body from the inside out and her lungs fill up with mucous that she cant get out and her body wont break down like ours would which causes her lungs to become scar tissue and die.
For the last 4 years they have done everything they possibly can to get her a double lung transplant through Mass General Hospital. This past Monday, Courtney's lung collapsed for the 3rd time in the last 4 months and it caused a build up of air next to her lung that caused her to go into cardiac arrest. After 3 minutes of CPR, without a pulse, they were able to revive Courtney. Since then, she has been on a ventilator and her lungs will no longer work on their own. Unfortunately MGH has turned Courtney down for the lung transplant because they feel she may not survive it.

Josh is never one to ask for help. In order to keep a roof over their sons head and food in their fridge, Josh has been having to still go to work everyday despite everything going on. Please help us help them so they’re able to focus on what really matters right now, and that’s spending time with Courtney, which could be limited.

Sometime’s the most deserving people are dealt the toughest cards; but if we can all come together we can at least make the process a little easier to bear. Every dollar matters right now. Josh, Courtney & Carson appreciate every one of you ♥️
