Help Jonathan Finish College!
Howdy! My name is Jonathan Thomas. I'm a student at Texas A&M University and I am the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '19 AAA WHOOP.
I've always dreamed of gaining a university education and today I have been blessed to pursue that dream. But to complete that dream, I need your help.
To finish my degree, I am required to study abroad for a semester. As my minor is German, I have opted to study in Salzburg, Austria for the Spring semester.
Studying abroad will give me valuable critical thinking skills in learning how to function on my own in a completely different culture. I will gain a more broad worldview and learn to view issues through another's eyes. I will hone my language skills and expand my ability to process new information. I also wish to learn important business practices and how to relate social practices and multiculturalism to our increasingly global economy.
I hope to have a career as a business accelerator and create jobs in under-employed areas. I want to help create jobs for people to have pride in and provide for themselves and their families. I feel that an experience abroad will help me go into new places in the future and understand the economic and social differences there to be able to create sustainable industry and jobs.
How you can help.
So far, I have been able to pay for college myself through a job in carpentry and with help from my parents. But the cost of a semester abroad is unexpectedly high and simply too much for me and my parents to cover. Even with loans there are still costs that I can't meet. All donations will go only to paying for the semester abroad fees and repaying college loans.
If you could give just as much as you can and you feel comfortable with giving, that would help more than you know. Even if you can't afford to give any right now that's understandable (I'm in a similar position, haha) I'd ask that you please share this on Facebook. The more people that see this, the higher chance I have of reaching my goal.
Please donate, share, and help me complete my dream of a college education so I can give back to those less fortunate than me.
