End of Life Expenses (Formerly Help Jo fight PH)

Donation protected
In November of 2016, after many visits to the doctor, my sister Jo was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension.  PH is a rare, progressive and incurable lung disease.

Since her diagnosis, Jo has been on multiple medications, including ones that pump through a port directly into her heart. A few weeks ago she received the life changing news that her last option for medication is not working and she will need to undergo a double lung transplant next year.  Beyond the daily physical ailments PH causes, Jo also regularly deals with the painful side effects of her medications. Despite all this, she is still working full time. With a family to support, including a son with his own medical needs, and the extreme costs of her medications, Jo can not afford to take a pay cut to go on disability.

After her transplant, she will not be able to work for at least a year while she recovers. I'm hoping through this page we can raise enough money to give Jo and her amazing family the financial support they need so her only concern can be getting better.
