Help Jesus Return to Guatemala
Donation protected
On Tuesday, January 9, at about 6:30 a.m., a vehicle traveling eastbound on Indiantown Road struck a bicyclist, Jesus Hernandez, 38, according to the Town of Jupiter Police Department .
Jesus, a father of two, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Originally from the small village of Taj-Buxup, in the Guatemalan state of Huehuetenango, he worked as a landscaper in Jupiter, where he lived for about 14 years.
Though Jesus sent money home, he had not seen his wife or children since he arrived in the United States. He planned to go back in the next few years.
Jesus’ brother, Juan, is asking for help covering the costs of transporting his body back to Guatemala. Please help us reunite him with his family.
