Help Jax Skydive For Bham Kids
Donation protected
Hi everyone my name's Jax and I am raising funds for the Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity.
I'm getting out of my comfort zone to tandem skydive from 10,000 feet on 16th June 2018.
The reason behind this is due to when my youngest son was 15 he developed a calcium build up behind his left eye. It was a golf ball size lump that was close to wrapping around his optic nerve, seriously endangering his sight.
Dr Kuo and his team of specialists did a fantastic job for Laurie and it is very hard to see the scar where they had to basically take his eye out to get behind it. They even gave Laurie a quarter of the lump in a jar to show the grandkids!
Although Laurie has all grown up and has children of his own I feel that it is the time and opportunity to say a big thank you to the Birmingham Children's Hospital for what they did for my boy.
The money raised will really make a difference to other children and their families going through a tough time while in hospital.
Who's willing to sponsor me?
