Jason Burke is a young hard working family guy. He likes hanging out with his friends and family, playing golf, going on road trips. He and his fiancé have one son, Beckham, 15 months old, a happy baby always smiling like his dad.
In December 2017 he was given some pretty tough news. He had found a lump, went to the Dr., and at only 32 years old, Jason was diagnosed with testicular cancer. It needed to be removed. It was hard news, to be sure, but Jason took it all in stride, even making jokes to ease the discomfort of others around him.
Unfortunately, the six month post-op test was not so positive.
Jason was found to have three tumors in his abdomen, one of them attached to a significant vascular system on his stomach. This one could not be removed, as it was too risky.
However, the good news is that there is a new ground breaking treatment that has shown huge success in shrinking such tumors to an operable level. The bad news? This treatment requires that Jason take 2 pills a day for 60 to 90 days. Each pill costs $125.00. Jason’s extended health care plan has agreed to cover $75 of the $250.00 DAILY BILL.
Help us, the friends and family of Jason Burke, to allow Jason to focus on being positive and stress free while this medication does its work. We are looking to raise the balance of the cost of the drug, which is a staggering $15, 750. This is only going to cover the cost of his treatment medication. ($175 x 90 days)
The most successful outcome would be that the treatment works and the cancerous tumor is successfully removed.
Jason has a young son to raise, and we need him to be healthy and happy to do just that.
