Help Improve Ivalee Kamalu’s quality of life

Donation protected
Our friend, hula sister and classmate needs our help to improve her day to day quality of life with the purchase of a hydrogen machine.

Ivalee was first diagnosed with breast cancer her2 positive in May of 2015. After 6 months of chemotherapy, 10 radiation treatments, and a years worth of estrogen therapy treatments, we were able to rejoice in the news that her breast cancer was in remission. The sad news is that her remission was short lived.

In March of 2019, we received the devastating news that the cancer was back, and this time had spread to her liver and bones, including her spine and femur.

Ivalee underwent surgery on April 1, 2019 to have rods inserted into her leg as a preventative measure to keep her from a fall that could lead to a broken hip, or worse.

She has undergone 10 radiation treatments on her spine, and 5 radiation treatments on her leg.  She is currently receiving chemotherapy and estrogen treatments.

In her search for alternative therapies, she has learned of a hydrogen machine that allows her to breath the hydrogen gas for 1/2 hour increments, 3 times a day, as well as drink hydrogenated water in the comfort of her own home.

If you know Ivalee, you know that she hates the thought of having to ask for help. But this is me, asking of you to help my lifelong friend, hula sister, and classmate. She feels that being able to have this daily therapy in her home will help her feel better and stronger.  A strength she will need to rely on to continue this battle she is currently in.

Will you consider helping us reach this goal? For those of you who may not care for the go fund me format, I can tell you that Ivalee plans to be at class night, and reunion luau this year. I also plan to be at class night, and will be more than happy to collect any donations you may want to pass on.

Mahalo for your consideration,
