Help Ian Beat Cancer and Paralysis

Donation protected
Two months ago, my brother, Ian St. John, went into the hospital in extraordinary pain. What was originally thought to be a collapsed lung was revealed to be lymphoma. Several days later, he lost all feeling in his legs and became paralyzed from the waist down. Compounding an already devastating series of events, his wife suffers from multiple sclerosis and gave birth to their second daughter only two weeks ago.

Ian, a golf professional who donates time giving lessons to kids with special needs, is charismatic and well-regarded in his community of Rush, County Dublin, Ireland. He is the type of person who would literally give you the shirt off his back. He’s also a dedicated family man, but cannot leave the hospital to spend time with his beloved family, especially his newborn daughter.

Ian’s positivity through this ordeal is truly inspirational. He’s been in the highest spirits possible through chemo, paralysis, and limited time with his family. Despite everything he has had to endure, he has been a rock of strength for his family.

There has been huge outreach and support from the community, friends, and family – all asking how they can help. Ian and his family are dealing with a great deal of hardship and challenge, both emotionally, physically, and financially right now. We’ve started this Go Fund Me page to help them through this ordeal. A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your support!
