Help Henry’s Long Recovery

On Tuesday April 23rd, our friend and brother Henry Bartsch Jr. was involved a horrific workplace accident where he sustained serious injuries.
While Henry was working on a large piece of machinery at his workplace, a workpiece became dislodged and became a projectile.
It hit Henry, cutting him from nipple to groin down the middle, and as such, has lost alot of blood.
Thanks to the quick action of the paramedics, Henry was brought into the ICU at Hamilton General, and underwent an emergency operation to save his life. During the operation, they had to remove part of his colon, and he’s now in induced sleep in ICU at Hamilton General.
The surgeon was one of the best, and the best hands Henry could have been in, but his journey to recovery is far from over, and he needs our help.
We are asking for your help to raise funds towards Henry’s long and difficult recovery, to help cover his medical expenses, insurance, shelter, food and basic needs while he is unable to work or function.
The doctors have no idea how long this recovery will be for Henry and we want to make sure he has everything he needs at his disposal, to make this as easy as possible for him and his family.
