Help Hayden Fight!

In March 2019, my brother in law, Evan, rushed my sister, Nathalie, to the hospital to deliver their second daughter.  They got stuck on the highway during morning rush hour traffic. Too anxious to finally meet her parents, Hayden Skylar Davis made her grand entrance in the front passenger seat and was nestled in her mommy’s arms as they pulled up to the ER.

After my sister (5yrs AD) and brother in law (6yrs AD) served in the US Navy and several deployments, they moved to Missouri to begin their life together as a family. They have started going to school relying on their G.I Bill which only pays BAH While enrolled as full time students.

Two weeks ago Nathalie had to rush my five month old Niece, Hayden to the ER to find that she has Hydrocephalus (extra fluid that puts pressure on the brain and can cause brain damage. It's most common in infants and older adults). CAT scans and MRIs revealed that it is a lot more extensive than just that. Hayden has a brain tumor that was blocking the flow of her cerebral fluid (CSF) and caused a build up of pressure in her brain. A neurosurgeon removed as much of the tumor as he safely could. Turned out to be a rare Atypical choroid plexus tumor, grade 2. She also has a couple spots on her spine. Once she recovers from surgery the plan is for her to start chemo in a couple of weeks. The doctors were not able to get all of it during her first major surgery due to it being next to two main arteriesAt this moment, doctors are working to clear her brain of CSF build up before they can surgically put in a shunt and later begin chemo. Hayden is such a strong little lady. She looks fear dead in the eye and has been bravely fighting it with her mommy, daddy, and big sister (4yrs old) by her side. She has a long journey before she reaches full recovery. Nathalie and Evan have been by her side day and night since the tragic start. But they can’t get through this alone...

I am asking on behalf of my family and this little Wonder Woman for any support as she continues to fight. It’s been three weeks now and they need all the help they can get to cover medical expenses. I thank you in advance for any contributions that will help alleviate some of their stress. Thank you for all of your prayers.
