Help Grandpa get a car

My dad was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing daily treatments.  He woke up this morning to find his car had been stolen.  Luckily we have transportation for his appointments, but he still needs a car to get to his routine Dr. appointments, grocery shopping and normal errands.  My dad is retired and on a very tight fixed budget, he cannot afford much. I am hoping we can raise just a little bit to help ease the burden and stress this has caused him. He is very independent, and doesn't like to ask or rely on anyone for help.
