Help George and Family Post Surgery

As many of you know, my dad George Konstantinov recently underwent surgery on February 9th, 2017 to treat his gall bladder.
In 2015, my dad had colon cancer and thankfully received the treatment required to beat it! However, the battle didn't end there. Since surgery in 2015, my Dad has had many complications due to a history of various successful and partially unsuccessful treatments. Most recently, he's been in the hospital frequently due to his gall bladder acting up and preventing him from eating many foods. These meals were unpredictable as he had to guess often as to what would be digestible, but often came new surprises.
Because of his unfortunate circumstances, George has lost many weeks of work, working as a goalkeeper and soccer coach in the Victoria BC community.
My mom Tamara and I struggle to support him financially as he so often is forced to take leave for medical concerns. My mother is currently on disability services and I am a student at the University of Victoria, working day and night on Campus mostly unpaid. Both of us have limited means to bring money into the house.
I have taken it upon myself, his daughter, to ask for assistance. Throughout these painful months, the family has accumulated various debts and bills. We struggle to get by while these hang over our heads. I know that many of you love George and he loves all you of back. He has done so much work for our community, particularly volunteer work coaching children, not asking for anything in return. He gives his services in any way he can and a smile never leaves his face. I admire my father so much and I'd hate to see him stop doing what he loves most of all. Despite his medical trauma, George is the healthy, strong and resilient solider we know him to be.
The funds we receive will be used to pay expenses that have accumulated over time such as medical expenses, rent, food, hydro, etc. We hope to use this money on only the essentials and save the rest for a rainy day.
In return, we hope to give you whatever services we are able to offer as a family. I hope to hear from you all soon. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit this page and read our story.
