Who We Are
Crystal Clockworks is dedicated to the preservation of the planet, and is made by and for people of all backgrounds. We seek to produce films that don't misrepresent P.O.C, women, and LGBTQ individuals.
Where does the film's profits go?
All of our profits go to land conservation and compensation for our affiliated performers and production crew, who are more than 70% local working or low income people of color, and more than 50% women of color in Seattle and the PNW. Our end goal is to acquire for our nonprofit at least 300 acres of undeveloped land. This land will be left in pristine condition and become CCW sustainable conservation and camping centers.
Our Current Project!
We are currently working on our first movie production, The Log Of Magnus, a psychological thriller about a young man named Magnus who gets trapped in a psychedelic forest, finding direction from an otherworldly forest dweller who questions the sustainability of Magnus's world. In this film, we are focusing on how modern systems of transportation and agriculture disrupt our ecosystem.
When will it happen?
Our Project is scheduled to begin production May of 2019. We hope to be fully funded by that time and finish our production for SIFF in the summer of 2020. Our gratitude will be immense and all of our friends and donors will be invited to a private screening and/or receive a gift basket.
