A Nurse in Need

On June 10th 2018 I had a very serious fall that resulted in multiple fractures of my right arm and shoulder.  Three months after surgery and 2 months into therapy the screws holding my arm together have failed and I will be having more arm/shoulder surgery. The trauma team at Ryder Trauma Center will be operating on me on October 3rd 2018. I have another 6 months of rehab ahead of me before I can return to work. At this time I have depleted all my savings and resources. Disability pay is less than 40% of my pay and this does not cover basic costs of living, medical and transport expenses. After almost 23 years of helping others I ask for help now.. I am fighting to get back on my feet and back to work healing children.
