Help for Tom Sampson's Unexpected Medical Expenses


We are coming to you on behalf of our brother-in-law, Tom Sampson.

Tom suffered a massive stroke when he went in for a simple follow-up procedure. He was rushed to the ER, spent a week in the critical care unit, and is now on the PT floor where he is working on physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Tom’s vision, speech, arm and leg are affected; through hard work in therapy, he has regained limited movement in his leg and shoulder. After this, he will go to a long-term rehab facility to further his progress. Tom's therapy is likely to last a year or longer.  As we all know, not all of the expenses to help one get better are covered by insurance. This is where we all can help.

Tom has a giant heart and outstanding character. He is a true family man. He is a dedicated and loving husband to Celeste and a wonderful father to his children, Jacalyn, Michael, and Willie.  He is close with his brothers, Bill and Jim. We simply could not ask for a better in-law than Tom. His best role, however, is his new role as a grandfather. "Poppy" is such a sweet and loving grandpa. He was just meant for this role. 

While many of you may want to offer your support in person, Tom is quite busy with therapy. Once these sessions are completed for the day, he is understandably very tired. This time is being reserved for Celeste and their children. Your prayers are much appreciated.
