Help for Lochlan Little and Parents

On December 5th Lochlan was born prematurely by emergency c section  at 28w5d to mom Crystal and dad Matt. Separately Crystal and Lochlan were transfered from Campbell River to Victoria to separate hospitals. Lochlan thankfully is doing very well given his early start his mom however has been in a medical induced coma supported by a ventilator since his birth due to extreme complications from bacterial pneumonia that forced Lochlan's early birth. To date the one attempt to wake Crystal and remove her intubation tube so she can breath on her own was unsuccessful and at this point it is unclear how long she will require this support in the ICU.

Matt is currently staying in Victoria paying for a hotel out of pocket as Jeneece Place is full and with great stride he is balancing his time between both hospitals to help manage medical decisions for his son and partner. 

Up until recently they were a long term valley family but moved to Campbell River this summer due to the rental crisis in the valley. To have a child in the NICU and your spouse in the ICU at the same time is absolutely unimaginable but that is the current reality for this lovely family. Any support you can offer to help ease the momentual financial burden they are facing is greatly appreciated.

We (Natasha and Paul Ardron) know the stress emotionally and financially of having a child in the NICU and can't even imagine not being able to lean on each other because one is so gravely ill in the ICU. Paul and Matt have a friendship that goes back 20 plus years and we are devastated to see such a kind, gentle and faithful friend endure so much.
