Help for Joe, Mason, and Cole

As many of you are aware, my brother Joe has kidney disease.  Just over 7 years ago he received a kidney transplant, but it didn't cure the kidney disease.  This fall Joe started feeling ill.  He went to the emergency room early November.  They diagnosed him with pneumonia.  2 days later he went back to the emergency room.  A week and a half and 3 hospitals later he was released to come home on Thanksgiving.  He was diagnosed with a fungal infection that was/is affecting his lung, kidney, and liver.  The medications he's prescribed do not work well with his kidney medications.  In turn he has continual medical appointments, and multiple visits per week.

As  you all can expect, the hospitals, continual medical appointments, and prescriptions are very expensive. Especially considering the last hospital, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. That hospital is not in his network with the insurance policy he had.

On top of all of the medical bills, Joe had to quit his job as a machinist.  The doctors are telling Joe he cannot work until late February at the earliest.  In itself, this would make life very difficult.  

Joe is a single dad, of two amazing boys.  Our entire family is helping with the family responsibilities, obligations, financially, moral support, and whatever else we can possibly do, but we cannot help with all of Joe's newly acquired financial hurdles.
