Help for Erinn Leigh

Hello! My daughters name is Erinn Leigh. Her Menominee name is “Wapakenukiw” or “White Eagle Woman.” She is a crazy, funny, fashionista, and most of all she’s kind. She is extremely sick. My name is Chelsea and her father is Edwin. She also has a little one year old sister named Zoila. Erinn is our fire cracker! She is very sick and we just need help to make sure she gets well.
On Saturday November 10th, 2018 Erinn began to have a slight fever. She complained of being tired and her belly hurting. The following day, November 11th she got worse. She began to get a rash that spread from her chest to the tips of her toes and fingers. Her fever spiked to 104.1 degrees and she was rushed to the emergency room.
The emergency room PA said she had a urinary tract infection and was put on antibiotics.
On Tuesday November 13th she wasn’t doing any better. Actually worse! She began having a red tongue and swollen lips, hands, and feet. We were told she may have “Kawasaki Disease” but wasn’t given a definitive diagnosis. She was then sent home.
Later ER that night, she was brought to the Emergency room again because she spiked a fever of 102.7 and she was listless. The same thing happened, we were told she has a virus and it would pass.
Wednesday November 14th, she was seen by a pediatrician. This visit was different. Erinn was extremely sick, swollen, and dehydrated. She was itchy from the rash that had now spread to every inch of her body. She was finally given the definitive diagnosis of Kawasaki Disease. She is now going to be admitted for a while in the hospital while she is being treated and monitored.
Kawasaki Disease can be dangerous. It effects the vessels of your heart ❤️ so Erinn will be going thru a lot of testing including an Electrocardiogram. She has had the disease for 5 days so she is at higher risk for ventricular damage. Erinn will be at Bellin Memorial Hospital until all the testing is done. Once we get all that done she will probably be sent to Children’s in Milwaukee or Madison.
We we are asking for any help! My husband and I are both taking time off work and are low on funds. We are also trying to take care of our One year old daughter Zoila Warrington. We would appreciate any help with travel costs and money for food.
