Help for Baby Hope

On April 5th, 2017 at 24 weeks Baby Hope decided that she wanted to meet her mom and dad.  The doctors at Surrey memorial tried to convince her that it was not time but she was persistant and they ended up having to perform an emergency C-section on her mom Janet. Janet had some complications after the c-section and ended up having her own emergency surgery and is also in the hospital healing.   Baby Hope has a long road ahead of her in the NICU approx. 3.5 months untill she is strong and healthy enough to come home. She is a fighter and the NICU unit is amazing but Janet and Jason are definetly needing some help. Janet needs and wants to spend as much time with Hope as possible as she gets through this critical time and has taken a leave from her full time job. Jason is trying to find work but is having a difficult time. They are working with the government to apply for special financial and housing support but it is a long process and the financial support they will receive will not cover their current bills.  Down the road they will also need all the baby items for Hope when she comes home.
