A massive thank you to everyone who was so incredibly kind to Mazey and helped with her campaign -it was invaluable to us both. Circumstances have changed and I have stopped her campaign.  Thank you all again from the ottom of my heart.

Here is a video I took yesterday. You can see how incredibly painful Mazey's legs are. She is lame on both front legs following her fall, and she is having to choose the least painful to limp on.

Mazey and I were due to travel down to Essex today (a 500 mile round trip) for more CT scans on her legs. Unfortunately I have had multiple panic attacks, followed by a migraine with all the stress and I could just not make the journey of 5-6 hours driving.

I feel I have let my wonderful Mazey down, when she needs me so badly. I can't stop crying. I am so so sorry Mazey.

Here is one of Mazey's puppy pics to try and cheer us both up (she gets upset when I cry)

Mazey had an initial CT scan in Essex on Friday but unfortunately now has to go back to Essex for another scan. The initial results showed that she has damage to her left leg (and she will need an operation on it) - even thought it is her right leg that she is limping on - so there is obviously another problem with the right leg which we need to investigate further.

It is a long drive. It took me 3 days to recover from the first one, so I am not looking forward to it, and of course the petrol is very expensive which is a big worry.

An exceptionally kind vet in Essex has said he will do Mazey's scans for the amount the insurance will pay out under her policy- which is a Godsend. To give you an idea of cost, locally we were quoted between £860 and £1300 for ONE ELBOW. The vet is scanning both of her entire front legs for me, meaning he is not charging for almost all the work. The scans are vital to see exactly what is wrong with Mazey so we can come up with a plan of action to treat her.

I hope the vet will let me post his name & practice in due course, but I can understand why he may be reluctant. So many people are in desperate need for help for their pets, that he probably thinks he would be inundated with people asking for his help. I can’t express how grateful I am to him, and also to SIMONE WEEKS and STEPHANIE EVANS who have also made donations to Mazey’s cause. Thank you both so very, very much.

I also want to say another big thanks to VICKY BLOOR who took so many of the wonderful images you see of Mazey - which were originally done for the Rottweiler in Need Charity calendar (Mazey was asked to appear as there are not many Rottweiler assistance dogs) If you need any pet photography done here is her website - https://vickybloor2018.wixsite.com/photography

So, tomorrow night Mazey and I will pack our bags and at the stroke of midnight, we will start the long drive down south, as our appointment is at 9am on Friday.I get a lot of panic attacks, so we are leaving 9 hours for the drive down, in order that Mazey and I can stop for rests if I am unwell.
I am so very scared at what might be found and what will happen to Mazey if she needs an operation. I'm also scared we will get stranded as I can't really afford the petrol for the drive: if any surprise withdrawals come out of my bank account we are done for :( Lastly I'm horribly worried for my elderly cats who will miss one dose of their 12 hourly medication. I know it will not affect them too much, but it is not ideal – however I have no choice. One of the big disadvantages of autism is having no friends to call on for help.

I will update what happens on Friday and what the results of the scans are. Mazey and I know how hard things are for everyone just now, and even if you can’t donate, please spread the word about Mazey’s campaign.
