Help for Andy Askin, Camp Fire Evacuee

My name is Meghan Askin and I live in Los Osos, CA. I am the oldest of three girls, and have created this campaign in order to raise money to help our father, Andy Askin, recover from the loss of his Paradise, CA home; which was completely destroyed in the Camp Fire. The magnitude of loss and trauma is tremendous. So many things that burned are irreplaceable, but our dad must now look toward rebuilding his life. He is currently displaced, but very much wants to re-home. Our cousin recently wrote of our dad, “I have rarely known Andy Askin without a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face”.  Our father is the kindest, most generous, humble, dedicated, responsible, funny, and honest man and father, and grandfather.  He, selflessly, raised three daughters on his own and built a good life for us.  Please help us help him now. Please donate as generously as you can. The money raised from this campaign will go directly to our father; so that he can cover some of the great expense involved in moving into, and furnishing, a new home.  We thank you from our deepest hearts and wish for you that your generosity is returned ten-fold.
